Lovely dog pastel drawing

This time I wanted to draw a dog. So I was searching for some reference photos and this is what I found.  This dog looks so adorable. I just had to draw him. I got the reference photo from: Artist Reference group on facebook. Thank you Bill Muck for this picture.

With this drawing I learned to use the soft pastels and to blend colors together. I hope you like it.

Tiger

This is absolutely my favourite tiger that I've done so far. Reference photo: Angela Franke. Soft pastels on A3. I'm quite happy with the way it looks. What do you think?

And here are some work in progress shots:

Another pastel portrait of a horse

I finished this drawing and I'm so happy with the result. This is my favorite horse portrait that I've done. Reference photo by Karina Sturm. I hope you like it

And here you can see some work in progress shots:

Horse

I finished the horse portrait and I'm pretty happy with the way it looks. I used soft pastels. Reference photo by Sherri Robinson. Anyways, let me know what you think about this horse portrait. I think I've found new favorite medium. I love soft pastels! I'm already working on a new horse portrait so stay tuned in

And here you can see some work in progress shots:

Drawing this portrait was quite a challenge for me because I had to draw moustache.

Will Smith

This is my favorite colored portrait so far. Why? Because I always thought that it would be impossible to draw person with open mouth and with teeth. But finally I somehow fired out how to do that.

Learning to draw the hair

I have always struggled with drawing the hair. I decided to choose this picture of Christina Aguilera because her hair is so beautiful. I think I did pretty well.

Another goal that I want to achieve

On the december of 2013 I thought that it would be good to improve my colored pencil skills, so I started to draw more colored pencil portraits. So here is my first portrait.
